Hello, I’m Alice and this is my mum, Lisa. Together, we hope to work with you on your vision so we can bring your perfect floral creations to life.
Flowers hold so many meanings and magick and we are here to bring that to you, whether it’s for your wedding/civil partnership/handfasting ceremony, your best friend’s birthday or even just to brighten up a rainy day. We’ve got you covered.
Our Style
We want our flowers to reflect the beauty in nature and the love between our clients.
Our ideal style is wild, garden-style flowers. You walk through the meadows collecting stems, never too much, just enough to fill your hand and bring the magick of the outside, in. It’s lively yet calming and the smell of the flowers brings back memories created long ago.
We want people to see themselves in our flowers. Are you spontaneous and excitable or more of a homebody, grounded and calm? Are you colourful and vibrant or enjoy the beauty of simplicity? We take the colours, meanings and magic surrounding each flower into consideration when creating each and every arrangement.

We have had the pleasure of working on a plethora of beautiful events from everyday flowers for our client's homes to their lovely weddings and parties. We have also had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers and other creatives on photoshoots and production design meaning whichever the reason you might want something meaningful in the form of flowers, we are here and happy to help.

My name is Alice and I started my floristry journey in April 2017, learning on the job from my lovely mentor. I soon realised that I actually enjoyed what I was creating and started to take learning into my own hands as well, experimenting with different techniques, styles and of course using the language of flowers to make bouquets that came with a story. After 5 years, I wanted to try my hand in a different environment, to take away the safety net and security and soon realised that I was far more comfortable and confident in floristry than I had realised. This naturally led me to take the leap and start my own business.
In April 2023, I officially opened Bluebell & Flo, naming the business after my blue VW beetle (my dream car which became a reality) "Bluebell" and my Nan, Florence "Flo", who loved to play and create with flowers, with gladiolus and gypsophila always reminding me of her.
My family have always been my biggest supporters and got stuck in straight away, with each one of them lending a helping hand on numerous occasions and my brilliant Mum helping with our markets and taking my small idea of preserving flowers into the our breathtaking resin range. She quickly enjoyed experimenting and became proficient at creating new and exciting crafts leading our range from a few keyrings, all the way to our whole selection of jewellery, coasters, candle holders, side tables and more. This swiftly turned a one woman business into a dynamic duo. Over the years, I have taught Mum (a seasoned teacher by trade) the ins and outs of floristry and she took to it like a duck to water.
Together we have had the pleasure of working on weddings, events, every day gifts, workshops, photoshoots including production design and so much more with even more in the books. I have also had the chance to teach a handful of brilliant creatives along the way and loved sharing my love of flowers with likeminded people.
We have always wanted our business to be as sustainable as possible with the drying and preserving of any left over flowers, recycling and composting any waste that can't be salvaged and using as much English grown flowers as the seasons allow, exclusively use English grown, picked and dried flowers for all of our dried flower arrangements.
We have big plans for the rest of our Bluebell & Flo journey and can't wait to bring you along for the ride.
