I absolutely loved doing the flowers for this couple. We got to work with the loveliest people, creating something small and sweet for them with a beautiful impact.

This, I felt, was a perfect collaboration between us and the lovely couple we got to work with. We wanted to create arrangements that were classically beautiful with levels and textures to modernise them.

The bride showed me what she would like for her bouquet, namely a garden rose style, and we worked together to create something she would be happy to hold on her special day.

We used a collection of rose varieties (including wasabi, avalanche, miss bombastic spray and more) along with carnations, lisianthus, scabious, and gypsophilia to play with the different textures of each flower for her monochromatic bridal bouquet.

We wanted the groom’s buttonhole to match his bride’s bouquet, so used one of each flower and created something slightly larger to stand out whilst still remaining traditional.

Making the bridesmaids’ gypsophilia bouquets and the Man-of-Honour’s pocket square arrangement linked everyone together whilst remaining individual and tying all the creations in burnt orange ribbons, gave them all a beautiful pop of colour and a modern twist.

A huge thank you to Karen and James for working with us and the amazingly talented photographer, Hannah Richards for the beautiful photographs seen below.
